The entire Wine Barrel is constructed of high-grade, western Canadian red cedar that is free of knots, grain imperfections and defects. All of the wine support members are dado-cut providing structural integrity and elegant detail. The wine storage racks are set slightly back to give the allusion of being suspended in mid-air within the barrel unit, and the center section functions as a service center incorporating the highest quality wine cooler available. Highly polished stainless steel straps draw the ball and socket barrel staves together forming an exterior free of visible fasteners that is both durable and elegant.

Atop the service center are wine glass holders that are hand-crafted from red cedar timbers. Up to 20 wine glasses slide easily into the racks that gently and firmly keep the glasses secure. For added effect, LED lighting shines down from above the glass rack and is diffused through the cedar racks, creating a soft and sparkling effect that dances among the glasses.

There is also a convenient storage compartment for concealing your wine decanters, screw pulls, napkins and more. The area is high enough to store wine bottles in an upright position, and the door of the storage compartment glides down to a horizontal position, serving as a pouring tray that is at the perfect serving height.

The wine cooler is a dual zone wine cellar manufactured by Marvel®, recognized as the leader in high-quality wine coolers. The glide-out wine racks hold 24 bottles in the upper zone and 20 bottles in the lower zone, each of which is controlled by a separate cooling system. You can maintain separate temperature zones in the 40°F-60°F degree range, and each zone is represented by an elegant blue LED display that shows real temperature in each zone. There are visual and audible alarms in the event of power failure, and the unit comes with a 5-year condenser warranty, one of the best in the industry.
