After market safety door lock
We periodically get requests for locking devices for Almost Heaven Saunas. Since our glass doors have tension adjustable hinges, they close automatically and there is no need for a locking device. However, in cases where the owner wants to prevent access to the sauna from the outside, there are options.
A very effective locking device is the one shown here. It – or a version of it – is available at most hardware stores and it is an easy lock to install after your sauna is built. The only time a sauna should be locked is when you want to prevent access from the outside, and in no instance should the sauna be locked when in use.
