The Ellipse Sauna, by Almost Heaven Saunas, is the most deluxe of our full line of traditional home saunas. The Ellipse is a six-person sauna room, and the oval shape makes the Ellipse is both wider and taller than our standard barrel sauna. The Ellipse incorporates contoured back rests to the extra-wide bench seating, creating added comfort when relaxing in the sauna. Additionally, the sauna has a flat, duckboard floor, providing removable, floor sections for added comfort.

The Ellipse is constructed of solid western Canadian red cedar that is harvested from managed forests. We select only the choicest timber and profile each stave with a precise ball and socket design. The finished product is a sauna free of knots and blemishes which is as much a piece of furniture as it is a sauna. The Ellipse provides a traditional and authentic sauna experience, allowing the sauna to reach temperatures as high as 200F while you relax on the soft, red cedar benches. Sprinkle water on the hot sauna rocks and create a burst of steam that is both refreshing and invigorating. The Ellipse can be fitted with an electric heater or a traditional wood-burning heater for a more natural sauna experience.
