The internet is loaded with information about saunas, although much of it is very misleading. As we have mentioned before, an infrared therapy room is NOT a sauna at all, and does not deliver the benefits of a traditional wet sauna. Almost Heaven Saunas manufactures only true, high-quality Finnish saunas, and the health benefits of our saunas are many. New Barrel Sauna installation in Tennessee
I have just returned from personally installing a 4- person Almost Heaven Barrel Sauna in Louisville, TN, just south of Knoxville. While I may be biased, I have to say that the assembly was easy and fast; less than three hours, and that included transporting the components to the backyard. Almost Heaven Saunas produces the highest quality cooperage saunas in the world, and I am proud to say that we are a U.S. manufacturing company that has been building saunas for over thirty years. This lakefront installation is another example of an ideal outdoor location for our most popular sauna, and I am happy to say that we have yet another satisfied sauna customer! How spacious is the 4-person Barrel Sauna from Almost Heaven Saunas? Just take a look at this picture. We have just received a picture of an Almost Heaven Saunas 4-person Modern Home Sauna that was recently purchased and installed by a customer. This sauna is installed outdoors under a deck, and you can see that they have installed the optional roof cap that is barely visible.

Multi-level seating enables you to move higher into the sauna where it is hotter, or stay lower where it is a bit cooler. A recent purchaser of a Barrel Sauna called concerning placement of his Almost Heaven barrel sauna in his home. He was unable to get the round barrel end sections to fit down his low stairway opening. His question was whether the barrel ends could be disassembled in order to allow them to fit down the stairs.

For this customer and any others who are trying to bring the barrel ends through a low entry, the answer is yes, the end sections can be disassembled. Simply use a torque head drive to remove the screws in the horizontal 2×4′s and you will be able to separate the end into multiple sections. Once the pieces are brought to the placement location, simply reassemble the ends using the same screw holes. Everything will fit perfectly!
While the Barrel Sauna generally is used outdoors, there are some applications were the user desires it indoors, which makes ease of disassembly very important. The annual West Virginia State Fair begins on August 13 and runs through August 21. It is held at the fairgrounds just south of Lewisburg, West Virginia, and it is an event people from West Virginia and surrounding states anticipate each year. This is an exceptional State Fair, being very large and offering a wide variety of activities, entertainment and product displays in a very nice, well-maintained fairgrounds.

What’s in a name? Certainly more than words themselves. Our own name, Almost Heaven Saunas was derived from the 1970′s hit, “Almost Heaven, West Virginia,” by the late John Denver. The Almost Heaven designation is used by many businesses throughout West Virginia, and the title is a source of pride and distinction for the state!
